Kitty Denton
As founder of mode movement, Kitty began dancing as a child in Northamptonshire. During her early years of training, Kitty developed her movement vocabulary through contemporary dance and began to find a strong voice through improvisation and self-choreography, which lead her to reach and win the ‘All England Dance’ finals on multiple occasions. Kitty was a member of The Place’s contemporary youth company ‘Shift’, before graduating with a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance (First Class) 2017-2020, from Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Leeds. During and leading up to her professional studies, Kitty worked with choreographers such as Anthony Missen, Alleyne Dance, Theo Clinkard and Two Thirds Sky. Kitty works closely with the accompaniment, focusing on speed and dynamic qualities, her strong accents originate from her childhood training in tap dancing and drumming. Kitty is a technical dancer interested in coordination, expansiveness, smoothness, lines and performance. Kitty is also a qualified Barre and Floor Barre instructor and enjoys blending her dance background with fitness knowledge to deliver challenging classes to support participant’s wellbeing as well as dance training.

Amelia Hawksby
Amelia has been dancing since the age of three and trained in Northamptonshire and in London as a Royal Ballet School Associate for nine years. Amelia then went onto her professional training at Laine Theatre Arts, graduating in Musical Theatre. Amelia was offered her first contract with Royal Caribbean in the credited broadway musical ‘We Will Rock You’, as ensemble. Amelia then completed her second contract with Royal Caribbean playing the role ‘Cha Cha’, in the original broadway production of ‘Grease’.
Amelia brings high, fun energy to the studio where you can work on building stronger technique and performance.

Annabel Burgham
Annabel Burgham is a professionally trained dancer having graduated from London Studio Centre with a degree in Musical Theatre in 2020. Since then, she has worked as a production dancer on cruise lines including Costa, MSC, and Fred Olsen. Alongside her performing career, Annabel has developed a strong passion for teaching, working with all ages, from young children to older adults and even leading dance sessions for hen parties. Formerly an instructor at Move Your Frame in London, she is now excited to be joining the team at mode movement to continue sharing her love of dance.
Annabel brings so much joy and energy to the space.

Harvey Morris
Harvey, originally from Northamptonshire, trained at Bird College and graduated with a BA (Hons) in Dance and Musical Theatre. Harvey played 'Don Engel' in ‘Summer: The Donna Summer Musical’ (NCL). His previous credits include 'The Band' in ‘The Greatest Days’ (P&O), 'Prince Charming' in ‘Sleeping Beauty’ (Gala Theatre, Durham), ‘The Wizard of Oz’ (KD Productions, Lighthouse Theatre), 'Bud Frump' in ‘How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying’ (Bird College), ‘Britain's Got Talent’ (Ovo Arena Wembley), P!NK at the Brit Awards (The O2) and ‘Goldilocks and The Three Bears"‘ (Hull New Theatre).
Harvey is a lovely teacher and describes his class as: “a judgement-free, open community that allows dancers to work hard, support each other, grow as individuals but most importantly have fun”.

Jade Lemon
Jade is a professional dancer who trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in Contemporary Dance. Jade then went onto join Jasmin Vardimon Dance Company, JV2, working with Andre Rebelo and Jasmin Vardimon. Jade’s first abroad contract lead her to ‘Disneyland Paris’. Jade teaches a variety of styles across Northamptonshire and is interested in bringing high energy, expansive movement to the studio and hopes to provide inspiration to those in the space. Jade works with and against the floor with a sense of musicality and freedom.
Jade creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere and brings exercises which are both challenging and fun.

Joshua-Samuel Freeman
oshua-Samuel Freeman is a performer, educator, and model originally from Northamptonshire.
In 2021, Joshua graduated from The Urdang Academy in London and since then, has built a strong and versatile career performing across stage and screen around the globe. Alongside performing, Joshua is currently completing a Master’s in Dance Research at The Rambert School (in association with The Royal College of Music).Joshua is a passionate teacher, facilitating acro, jazz and contemporary classes across England and is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of young performers, reigniting the spark in those that wish to start dancing again and guiding pre-professionals on their journey into the arts.

Julie Galea
Julie is an esteemed IDTA professional dance coach with an extensive background in teaching and nurturing the dance dreams of individuals at all levels and ages. With a lifelong passion for dance, Julie's talent and dedication propelled her into the competitive dance scene, where she achieved incredible success. Competing at the prestigious International Championships at the Royal Albert Hall, Julie, alongside her partner, emerged as the Juvenile Ballroom Champions. Julie's professional accomplishments extend beyond coaching, as she has also graced the stage as a professional dancer at ‘Celebrity Just Dance’.
Julie's unwavering love for dance fuels her desire to share her passion and commitment to excellence with others. Julie believes in nurturing the potential of beginners and guiding them towards their dreams, whilst also honing the skills of seasoned competitors.

Lisa Risdale
Lisa Risdale is Artistic Director of Two Thirds Sky. She developed a career originally as a performer and teacher and has had the privilege of working with'; BBC Education, Bock and Vincenzi, VTOL, Yael Flexer, Richard Alston Dance Company, Ersatz Dance, and Rosemary Lee. After gaining an MA Choreography in 2005, Lisa founded Two Thirds Sky as a vehicle for collaborating with artists and has received Arts Council England funding and good critical reception. Projects have included; a collaboration with Kerry Nicholls, a large scale cross -community, promenade piece called ‘Eventide’ (2015) and the ‘Alston Inspired’ performance projects in collaboration with Richard Alston and the Royal and Derngate theatre (2017-2019). Lisa has lectured extensively throughout the UK and Europe including; De Montfort University, University of Leeds, Trinity Laban, University of Northampton, Middlesex University, and University of Bedfordshire. In 2014, Lisa was invited to deliver a masterclass at the Centre National de Danse Contemporaine for the ‘World Dance Alliance’ summit in Angers. Whilst Senior Lecturer at UoB, Lisa lead BA Performing Arts (2008-2011) and wrote their MA Community Dance.
Lisa’s classes enable dancers to bring their own personality to the movement, either through a series of improvised tasks or expansive phrases that allow the body to find volume, breath and flow.

Olivia Turiccki
Olivia naturally came to practice yoga after many years of dancing. Whilst travelling around South America, she carried out her 200-hour Yoga teacher training course in the Sacred Valley of Peru and became a qualified Yoga teacher. Olivia’s classes are Hatha and Vinyasa inspired, meaning there’s a particular focus on the breath, whilst opening up the body, stretching and flowing.
Olivia brings a beautiful, calming energy to the space and her classes enable relaxation as well as strength work.

Maia Stones
Maia’s early training began with a local team that took part in National Street Dance Competitions, leading to the UDO and SDI World Championships. During this time, Maia was able to develop her own stylistic qualities inspired from street styles including hip-hop, house and locking. Maia graduated form Creative Academy in 2022 with a degree in Professional Dance. Maia currently teaches a range of ages and abilities in Northamptonshire with an aim to create classes which are both enjoyable and beneficial for dancers.
Maia’s choreography is expansive, fun and challenges stamina. Maia is a fantastic teacher who pushes individuals to improve their skills.

Mathias Nyakanyanga
Mathias is a dancer and choreographer from Northampton. Whilst training under the likes of ZKMO, Cartel Company and TNG, Mathias developed his artistry and gained extensive knowledge in hip-hop and commercial dance styles. His credits include: Mr Eazi, Global Village Dubai, The Women's FA Cup Final and more. Mathias teaches around Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire, inspiring dancers of all ages and abilities.
Mathias' classes will aim to provide the balance of a challenging and informative, yet fun and enjoyable class.

Megan Ferguson
Megan graduated from Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in 2019. Whilst training, Megan joined Matthew Bourne’s young cast in ‘Romeo and Juliet’, her first production. After graduating, Megan became a full-time company member of New Adventures performing in the national tour of ‘Nutcraker’ and also in the national and international tours of ‘Sleeping Beauty’, ‘Edward Scissorhands’ and ‘Swan Lake’.
Megan’s classes combine both ballet and contemporary fundamentals, focusing on the ability to tell a story through movement. Megan is a beautiful, technical dancer who has a desire to share her knowledge on performance.

Siân O'Keeffe
Siân is a contemporary artist and her passion for dance started at Kilburn School of Dance in Wellingborough, where she trained in a range of styles. Siân found her love for contemporary movement whilst attending Trinity Laban’s CAT scheme, which lead to her furthering her training at Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Leeds. During her time at NSCD, Siân explored different ways of moving and found an openness to what dance could be through improvisation and visualisation.
Siân is an articulate teacher and provides the opportunity for those in the space to move freely, confidently and develop individual style.

Tash Lazarus-Wells
Tash is a freelance fitness instructor with a passion for movement, motivation, and making workouts fun. Armed with qualifications in Level 2 Gym Instructing, Level 3 Personal Training, and Level 3 Mat Pilates, she’s all about helping others feel strong and confident, both in and out of the gym.
When she’s not coaching clients, you’ll probably find her mid-burpee, deep in a squat, or smashing out a strength and cardio session just for fun. Back in the day, she was a 100-metre sprint queen, and now she’s traded spikes for sneakers and the track for the gym floor (though she still loves to move fast!).
If you’re after someone who keeps fitness real, fun, and full of energy, Tash is your girl.

Zoe Harris
Zoe has completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training, specialising in Ashtanga yoga, alongside her degree studying Dance and Professional Practice at the University of Bedfordshire. Zoe is also a qualified STOTT mat Pilates instructor. Dancing from a young age, Zoe completed her ISTD grades in ballet, tap and modern and has now decided to fuse her love for dance with wellness. Zoe aims to create an inclusive space where people can practice safely and free of judgement.
Zoe facilitates challenging classes which are great for strength work as well as bringing a sense of relaxation.
