• Kitty Denton

    As founder of mode movement, Kitty began dancing as a child in Northamptonshire. During her early years of training, Kitty developed her movement vocabulary through contemporary dance and began to find a strong voice through improvisation and self-choreography, which lead her to reach and win the ‘All England Dance’ finals on multiple occasions. Kitty was a member of The Place’s contemporary youth company ‘Shift’, before graduating with a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance (First Class) 2017-2020, from Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Leeds. During and leading up to her professional studies, Kitty worked with choreographers such as Anthony Missen, Alleyne Dance, Theo Clinkard and Two Thirds Sky. Kitty works closely with the accompaniment, focusing on speed and dynamic qualities, her strong accents originate from her childhood training in tap dancing and drumming. Kitty is a technical dancer interested in coordination, expansiveness, smoothness, lines and performance.

    Lauren Marocco

    Lauren graduated from Performers College, studying Musical Theatre and Dance. While training, Lauren found a passion for teaching, in particular, developing individual’s performance and endurance. Lauren currently teaches a range of styles, across all ages, around Northamptonshire. Lauren strives to enrich the skills of dancers of all abilities and ages and her favourite styles to teach and move are jazz and lyrical.

    Lauren is a lovely, encouraging teacher, who creates a welcoming atmosphere.

    Joshua-Samuel Freeman

    Joshua-Samuel Freeman is an experienced performer, educator, and model from Northamptonshire. At just 16, Joshua moved to London to study at Urdang Academy, graduating in 2021, and is now performing worldwide in a variety of roles across stage, screen, and beyond. Joshua’s versatility and dedication have earned him appearances on television, feature films, live events, and two covers of POP Magazine's 45th edition, shot by celebrated photographer and director Alasdair McLellan. Some of Joshua’s notable credits include:
    Mamma Mia! ‘I Have a Dream’, Sam Smith, The World of Musicals Concert Tours, Britain's Got Talent (Season 15) – Semi-finalist with the DBC group, performing live at the Palladium and the Hammersmith Apollo, The British Fashion Awards (BFAs): Red carpet appearance,The Wave Awards for Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, The National Reality Television Awards,

    Joshua enjoys passing on his gained knowledge to the next generation, as well as those recently discovering or re-diving into the arts. Joshua teaches acro, jazz, contemporary, lyrical across the country and is a fantastic member of the mode team.
